No hundreds of configurations. It’s easy to install, it’s easy to use. Post to Twitter is a very simple Wordpress’s plugin to send your post to your Twitter account.
Post to Twitter was based in Twitter Tool from Alex King.
If you only want to send your post to Twitter, Post to Twitter is the great option.
Just install the plugin, configure your Twitter account, set your custom tweet prefix and star to post.
Post to Twitter is totaly free, and distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Hi,
I like the plugin very much. There is a slight bug.
When I save or update a post I get a page with the following error:
Warning: cannot yet handle MBCS in html_entity_decode()! in /home/pal0216/public_html/missingandmurderedchildren/wp-content/plugins/post-to-twitter.php on line 164
When I hit refresh the error goes away and the post is updated or saved. The error message is kind of scary and at the least annoying.
Other than the error message the plug in does what it is supposed to do.
Any ideas?

Yes, I currently using WP 2.8 and the plugin works fine.

Oi Bruno, obrigado pelo contato.
Seguinte, o plugin já tem um encurtador de url, só que ele só ativa quando o texto e url juntos ficam acima de 140 caracteres, caso contrário ele coloca a url aberta mesmo.

Oi Alexandre, na verdade vc não precisa usar o sidebar para o usar o plugin, ele só pega os teus post e manda para o Twitter, não deixar nada visÃvel no teu blog.

Hi, great plugin! I would really love it if it is possible to do the same with wordpress Pages. Is that possible in any way? I had a look at the script and it seems to complicated for me to customize myself.

Hi A, Thanks to the comment. I never try to create a twitter post of my pages because I don’t change a lot my page content, just the post. But is an idea, maybe in the next release.

Would it be possible to add an option to make it not tweet the post again if you are editing and Update Post? Thanks!

Hi Shane,
In fact the plugin make it by default. Please, be sure, there’re no other plugin causing the double post. The plugin create a new custom field on the post, just to avoid the double post when you edit it, be sure you don’t have any plugin blocking the custom fields in your wordpress installation.
